The Community Environment Action Fund supports small scale, non-profit environmental projects at local level, that make a significant difference in local communities.
The Youth Climate Summit will feature a full-day of programming that brings together young activists, innovators, entrepreneurs, and change-makers who are committed to combating climate change at the pace and scale needed to meet the challenge.
The plant is expected to provide 67 jobs, along with 200 during construction.
“The feasibility study will take a number of months to complete and I understand that it is envisaged that a draft plan should be ready to be reviewed by the end of next year. Following this it is expected that a recommendation will be made in early 2020 regarding the relief road viability.
“Staff facilities will also be modernised including improvements to accommodation and office spaces as will visitor facilities which will include a family overnight room. The outdoor aspect of the hospital will also be landscaped”, said Minister Stanton.
The tar sprayers are used for surface dressing and sealing road strengthening operations and will be based in the Council Machinery Yards in Mallow serving North and East Cork and in Skibbereen serving West Cork.
