The first Training Day took place in the local GAA Complex recently. We had a very proactive day, and all the newly trained responders received their certificates at Harty’s Bar & Restaurant, Cloyne. These were presented by Lisa O’Lomasney from Cloyne Community Council. There will be one more training day for those who couldn’t make it the last day and, also anyone else who may be interested in becoming a Community First Responder. It is a very rewarding role to take on, and we look forward to a big response for the next training day. We will try to accommodate as many people as possible, as we are very aware of the time constraints on people, for one reason or another.
