Lidl are hosting a ball for the first time to raise funds for Jigsaw and Cope Foundation on Friday September 20 in the Clayton Hotel, Silversprings. The theme of the ball is Breaking Down Barriers. This theme fits very well with both charities as people supported by Cope Foundation and young people supported by Jigsaw overcome barriers every day in their lives.

Funds raised from the Breaking Down Barriers ball will go towards Cope Foundation’s Ability@Work programme. Ability@Work is a dedicated supported employment service, which aims to bring young people with intellectual disabilities and /or autism closer to the labour market. This programme assists jobseekers at key transition points between education, training and employment.
