Kathleen Barry to lead Carrigtwohill St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Carrigtwohill St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee are delighted to announce Mrs. Kathleen Barry as our Grand Marshall for 2019.

Kathleen was born and raised in West End in Carrigtwohill and is now currently living in Ryan & Ahern Place. Kathleen was married to the late Alan Barry (RIP), who was heavily involved in Carrigtwohill Community Council. Kathleen herself is involved with our local Community Care who are a fantastic group who cater for funerals and events in our local Community Hall.

Kathleen is a very keen supporter of all sports in the Parish, and in particular the GAA & Soccer, in which her sons are involved in. Kathleen loves walking and can be seen out every day, in all weathers. She loves meeting people and always has a kind word for everyone. There is a rumour that Kathleen will be celebrating a big birthday soon and we wish her a fantastic day !

Kathleen is delighted to be appointed Grand Marshal for the Carrigtwohill Parade and we are honoured to have such a fantastic community spirited family involved.
