Midleton actor & playwright set for ‘A Thousand Moments Of Extraordinary Pleasure’

A new play by Midleton’s Brendan Griffin, ‘A Thousand Moments Of Extraordinary Pleasure’ is set for Cork Arts Theatre this February. Starring Malcolm Adams (pictured), also from Midleton, the play runs from Tuesday, February 5th to Saturday, February 16th.

When Teddy reads Andrew’s online personal ad he decides to take a giant leap outside of his comfort zone. Andrew delights in dressing in women’s clothes. The two men explore together the uncharted territory of a fantasy world. Their journey is sensual, but the risks keep escalating.

The play was shortlisted for the Writers’ Week Eamon Keane Full Length Play Award 2018. It is the first play of “Emerging Artist Programme 2019” and it is made possible by the Cork Arts Theatre and the Arts Council of Ireland. What promises to be a very exciting collaboration the production brings together the talents of Tom Kibbe as director, and actors Malcolm Adams and Mark D’Aughton.

Tickets can be bought at Cork Arts Theatre Box Office, online at corkartstheatre.com or by phone 021 450 5624 Tickets €15/ €12 concession.
