Belgian artist Serg has certainly got people talking in Midleton.
Now resident in Cork for over 20 years, Serg is no stranger to painting murals, but his first venture to East Cork has certainly grabbed the attention of the local public this summer. Serg has used the model of one of Midleton’s most modern and now famous landmarks, the Choctaw Native American Monument at Bailick as his inspiration.
Spending a few days in the sunshine last week at the Courtyard, Coach Horse Lane, Serg has brilliantly blended the monument with his very own personal touch to come up with this beautiful mural, which is quite simply a delight to the eye. Have you see it yet? Take a trip to the Courtyard today!
