Summer plans set in stone?


Annual Sculpture Exhibition curated by Richard Scott kicks off at Ballymaloe House, providing visitors with a unique and memorable summer experience.
Cementing their long-standing reputation for supporting the arts, Ballymaloe House and the Allen family are once again gearing up to welcome the annual Sculpture Exhibition to the grounds of Ballymaloe Farm, based in Shanagarry in beautiful East Cork. Curated by Richard Scott, the exhibition will officially open on Thursday 20th June at 6pm and is available for viewing from 9am to 9pm daily until the 31st August.

With 42 distinctive pieces created by 33 artists on show over the course of the exhibition, the eclectic collection will feature works in stone, stainless steel, ceramic and even grass, with each piece precisely placed against the picturesque surrounds of Ballymaloe Farm. The exhibition includes Irish, Swiss and Slovenian artists, while familiar names like John Coll, Elizabeth Cope, Patrick O’Reilly and Michael Quane are featured among the esteemed list.
